These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Valerius Detailing.

​​​

 

By booking, paying a deposit, or allowing work to commence, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Services & Consultations.

 

All detailing, machine polishing, and ceramic coating services are consultation-led.

​

Every vehicle’s paintwork, condition, and history are different. Prices, timescales, and achievable results are assessed following a consultation.

​

Quoted prices are based on the condition of the vehicle at the time of inspection or the information provided by the customer.

 

Valerius Detailing reserves the right to amend or withdraw a quoted service if the vehicle’s condition differs from what was originally disclosed.

2. Pricing & Payments

​​

All prices are quoted in GBP (£).

​

Final pricing may vary depending on:

​​

  • Vehicle size and condition.

  • Paint hardness and previous work.

  • Level of correction or preparation required.

  • Product or coating selected.

​

Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

​

Deposits may be required for machine polishing and ceramic coating services. 

​

Deposits are non-refundable if the customer cancels within 48 hours of the scheduled booking.

​​

 

3. Access & Working Conditions

​

For services to be carried out safely and to a high standard, the customer is responsible for ensuring suitable working conditions are available at the time of the booking.

This includes:

  • Safe and reasonable access to the vehicle

  • Adequate space to work around the vehicle

  • Access to electricity and water where required (for mobile services)

  • A well-lit environment suitable for inspection and correction work

 

If suitable access, utilities, or working conditions are not available, Valerius Detailing reserves the right to:

  • Delay the service

  • Modify the scope of work

  • Or cancel the booking

In such cases, deposits may be retained to cover time and costs incurred.

Valerius Detailing will not be held responsible for compromised results caused by poor working conditions beyond our control.

Satisfaction & Rework Policy

​

Valerius Detailing takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and professional results on every vehicle.

​

If the customer is not satisfied with the service provided, any concerns must be raised at the time of collection or immediately upon completion of the service.

​

Where a concern is deemed valid, Valerius Detailing will be given the opportunity to inspect the issue and, where appropriate, carry out reasonable rectification work.

 

Rework or corrections will only be considered if:

  • The issue is directly related to the service performed

  • The concern is raised before the vehicle leaves our care or is driven away

  • No third-party interference, washing, or treatment has occurred after completion.

 

Valerius Detailing will not be responsible for:

  • Dissatisfaction based on unrealistic expectations

  • Issues arising from pre-existing damage or defects

  • Changes occurring after the vehicle has left our control

Refunds are not offered once a service has been completed. Any resolution will be at the sole discretion of Valerius Detailing and limited to reasonable rework of the affected area.

4. Vehicle Condition & Pre-Existing Damage.

​

Valerius Detailing is not responsible for Pre-existing damage, including but not limited to:​

​​

  • Stone chips.

  • Deep scratches.

  • Paint defects.

  • Clear coat failure.

  • Interior wear or damage.

  • Mechanical or electrical issues unrelated to detailing services.

​

Any existing damage identified during inspection will be documented where possible.

​​

​

5. Paint Correction & Results.

​​

Paint correction results vary depending on:

​

  • Paint thickness.

  • Paint hardness.

  • Previous resprays or repairs.

  • Severity of defects.

 

While significant improvement is achievable, 100% defect removal is not guaranteed.

​

Valerius Detailing works within safe limits to preserve paint integrity.

​

​

6. Ceramic Coatings.

​

Ceramic coating services are:

​​

  • Selected based on consultation.

  • Not sold as fixed packages.

  • Dependent on correct preparation and aftercare.

​​

Incorrect maintenance, improper washing, harsh chemicals, local car-washes or neglect can significantly reduce coating performance and lifespan.

​

Valerius Detailing is not responsible for coating failure due to improper aftercare, external damage or physical damage.

 

 

7. Aftercare Responsibility.

​​

Once the vehicle is returned, responsibility for correct maintenance lies solely with the vehicle owner.

Aftercare guidance will be provided where applicable. Failure to follow aftercare instructions may affect results, durability, and warranty eligibility.

8. Cancellations & Rescheduling

​

Cancellations must be made with reasonable notice.

​

Deposits are non-refundable if cancellation occurs within 48 hours of the booking.

 

Valerius Detailing reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to weather conditions, equipment issues, or unforeseen circumstances.

9. Timeframes.

​​

Estimated completion times are provided as guidance only.

​​

Delays may occur due to:

​​

  • Vehicle condition

  • Weather (for mobile services)

  • Additional work required following inspection

​

 

10. Liability

​

Valerius Detailing will take all reasonable care while working on your vehicle.

​

However, we are not liable for:

​

  • Damage caused by pre-existing defects.

  • Mechanical or electrical faults.

  • Manufacturer paint defects or failures.

  • Damage resulting from previous poor workmanship.

 

Liability is limited to the value of the service provided.

 

 

11. Personal Belongings.

​​

Customers are responsible for removing personal items from the vehicle prior to service.

​

Valerius Detailing is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings left inside the vehicle.

​

 

12. Photographs & Media.

​​​

Valerius Detailing may photograph or record vehicles for:

​​

  • Marketing.

  • Social media.

  • Website use.

​​

No personal details or vehicle registration numbers will be shared unless agreed with customer before any work is carried out.

​

 

13. Right to Refuse Service.

​​

Valerius Detailing reserves the right to refuse service for any reason, including but not limited to:

​​

  • Unsafe vehicle condition.

  • Aggressive or abusive behaviour.

  • Unrealistic expectations.

​​

 

14. Governing Law.

​​

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
